This is the same problem I am having. I can see everyone's blogs added to my google reader, but I was under the impression that it would show up and I could access it through my blog page. This reminds me of the the first time I signed up for Facebook. I had to add/delete, mark/unmark, etc. I had no idea what I was doing, so I didn't understand what to expect.
